giclee canvas available Charlie Russell and Joe DeYong would go into the higher mountains,but not to hunt sheep. Charlie Russell was not a hunter although he enjoyed the camaraderie of hunting trips with his friends.

There is nothing as exciting as getting a glimpse of sheep above timberline. On a lunch break we glassed a far mountainside and thought we had located a herd of bighorns but decided it must just be rocks.

After we re-saddled and were riding on, we rechecked the mountainside and all those rocks had gotten up and were moving. Long distances can be tricky in the mountains.
