$1500 We are fortunate to have two Ducks Unlimited Lakes just outside of Dawson Creek. The main flyway is further east in Alberta but in October when the northern ducks and geese come down, we can be swamped for a few days as they feed-up on wheat and barley in the stubble fields.

It is unusual to have snow geese come to this area. Plenty of Canada's, smorgasbord of ducks of every deion, swans and sand hill cranes. When I saw the snow geese,... just had to paint them.
